Students and staff at Woldingham School are celebrating another year’s superb crop of A level results, with a 100% pass rate across all subjects with 88% of students achieving passes at A - B grades,four achieving at least 5 ‘A’ Grades and a further five candidates achieving 4 ‘A’ Grades. They have performed exceptionally well in Mathematics and Further Mathematics. Once again, our girls have excelled in the traditionally more challenging subjects such as languages and sciences, with 100% A and B passes in French, German, Japanese and Physics. The Woldingham tradition of excellence in creative arts was maintained, with 13 out of 16 students achieved A Grades in Art and a further three with A Grades in Art Textiles.
Students to single out for particular mention are: Philippa Winstanley from Oxted who with 4 A grades in Economics, ICT, Music Technology and Music is going on to study Music at Jesus College Oxford, where she has been awarded the Organ scholarship;
Rosanna Stoker from London who along with her 3 A grades, in Maths, Chemistry and Biology, has been awarded an Exhibition from Trinity College, London for achieving the highest marks for Grade 8 Solo Acting across the whole country last year.
All our students deserve a huge ‘Congratulations!’ for such wonderful achievements.
